Carried out an apprenticeship from 1976 until 1979 as a tooth technician, remaining in this field of study until 1981.
In 1981 he began his study in dentistry at the Westfälischen-Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
In 1985 he received his Master degree as a teeth technician.
From 1985 until 1986 he taught at the Teeth Technician Master School in Münster in the field of total restoration.
From 1987 until 1989 he worked as an assistant in the practice of Dr. Jürgen Westermeier in Lüdinghausen.
Since 1989 Dr. Schlotmann has his own practice in Dorsten, Recklinghausen.
Dr. Thomas Schlotmann is specialized in both dentistry and is a certified master teeth technician. In 1991 he further specialized in the field of prosthetics and implants.
After the opening of the new practice in 2007 he has also been working in the field of aesthetic dentistry.
He has used the KaVo-Key-Laser for the treatment of fillings since 1992.
1998 he began a postgraduate degree in the field of functional diagnostics and therapy at the Donau University Krems under the teachings of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Slavicek. He received his Master of Science in 2006
Dr. Thomas Schlotmann is the head of the practice and laboratory ‘the centre for beautiful teeth’.
Dr. Schlotmann is a member of the BDIZ (Bundesverband der Implantologisch Tätigen Zahnärzte) (The German Association of Doctors in the Field of Implantology), the study group "Wiener Schule" at the Karl-Häupl-Institut in Düsseldorf (Functionality diagnostics and therapy), the DGÄZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ästhetische Zahnheilkunde) (The German Association for Aesthetic Dentistry).
As of March 2007 he has been operating in the practice Dr. Schlotmann & Partner in Dorsten, which was especially designed to offer services in implants and reconstruction under anesthesia.st we organize flight arrangements, shuttle service with chauffeur, security personnel, interpreters, cosmetics, anti-aging treatments, physical therapy and star-cook meals.
